Intended to express a strong presence around town, the FZ1 is based on the powerful YZF-R1 engine and has a naked body design to express its power. Equipped with a 1,000 cc engine similar to the YZF-R1, the FZ1's engine has a different compression ratio and modifications to the cam profile and crank inertial mass, improving power and handling. Along with these improvements, the design is balanced to increase rear wheel drive force to improve acceleration. Unlike the FZ1 Fazer the FZ1 has no wind shield, no handles in the rear for the passenger and a more naked design to provide a sportier and more powerful look. With this sleek design, the FZ1 is designed for the fashionable rider who likes a stylish and powerful bike. It was released in Japan in February this year.
